Bancha tea

I like bancha tea.
And this is Wakame,seaweed from Kesennuma,Miyagi.


Kencha

I pray for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami.
At Natori ,Miyagi.

I went to meet my friend to Kesennuma/気仙沼.
The sea was calm and peaceful.

Candles for requiem.
I hope to
reborn Tohoku.

Oolong tea

This Oolong tea was made by Xuaoxiong in Shizukuishi,Iwate.
It is called Kesen tea /気仙茶.
Tea leaves were native
Tea leaves are slight fermented and fried with the pan.
The tea farm is near Rikuzen-Takada/陸前高田.
The tea garden remained but the town at the foot was damaged by the tsunami.
I hope to survive Kesen-cha.

Sencha

Soon,it will be one year from the great East Japan Earthquake.
Today, I had sencha of Ishinomaki /石巻,Miyagi.
The sencha is called Monou-cha /桃生茶.
Ishinomaki received the great tsunami and fires occurred.
Fukamushi sencha, deep steamed tea.
I bought by Uruoi tea estate.
I wish to reconstruct Ishinomaki.
I pray for Tohoku.

Bancha tea

This bancha tea is called Bunpuku Kama-cha/ぶんぷく釜茶.
The tea leaves are used autumn leaves and fry with a pan.
The taste was very very good.
I love this tea.

Tea party

I went to the Hinamatsuri tea party at Moriuchi tea estate in Uchimaki,Shizuoka.
I had sofu/蒼風 sencha,
koshun/香駿,black tea,
koshun oolong tea,
蜜蘭香単叢 2011
黄枝香単叢 2010
and more...
And pieces of rice cake were toasted at Irori.
Gest also brewed tea.
This tea was sencha Sofu.
Today was Hibamatsuri,doll's party.
Thank you for good teas.

Wakocha

Today is the girls festival on March 3
where the birth of girls are celebrated and wishes are expressed for their future happiness.
It is displayed together with peach blssoms.

I had Wakocha of Takeuchi tea estate in Makinohara,Shizuoka.
With Japanese plum/梅 instead of peach blossom.

Sencha

Now,I like sencha of Kubota tea estate.
Because,to brew easy and taste is good.
And tea leaves are soft and possible to eat.

Ochaduke/お茶漬け

This morning ,I had Ochaduke.
Ochaduke means "soaked in green tea". 
It is bowl of rice with green tea poured on it.
And pickled Japanese apricot /梅干し on it.
Using sencha tea leaves of Kubota tea estate in Tsukigase,Nara.

This tea is called Ooigawa tea/大井川紅茶 that made by Suzuki tea estate in Kawane,Shizuoka.
