Tea picking !!

I went to pick tea leaves at Umegashima, Shizuoka.

New year tea leaves, Yabukita for sencha tea

 

 Tea leaves were stored one day at cool and dark room.

 

One batt two leaves

 

And I had lunch

 

Edible wild plants, Yomogi, Myoga and Udo

I went to join picking new tea leaves at Moriuchi tea estate in Shizuoka.
These were beautiful green !

This tea leaves were Yabukita.

I picked a bud and two new leaves or one leave.

While a stem were folded  with left hand , tea leaves were picked with right hand.

I had happy time.
