I joined Ochakko meeting, the victims of Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant accident

I made the Christmas tree together, heard to the recent,

and brewed apple tea

We made candles

The university studebnt volunteer graduated from Ochakko meeting

He helped from 4years ago

Especially, he played with children

He is going to Thailand as teacher

I think that he can be a good teacher !!

Matcha

I went to the meeting for victims of Fukushima nuclear accident

She is the tea master of tea ceremony at Souma

Souma was suffered Tsunami large damage

and radiation damage caused

She refuged to Shizuoka

with several tea wears and tea whisks

and other tea set, hanging scroll, kimono, tea wear…, leaved in Souma

 

She has Obori pottery

Tsunami washed out the kiln 

Nevertheless she has tea everyday

I and my tea friend were taught her tea brewing

and brewed own tea

My friend brewed sencha tea

I brewed pan fried tea of Shibamoto

We made Ono-kun

Sencha tea

I joined the meeting of Fukushima at Shizuoka

I served tea for the victims of the nuclear disaster

Today, New Year's visit to Sengen shrine

We went up the shrine

then Mt.Fuji was appeared !!

Effect of low level radiation is not clear
Because the families with small kid feel anxiety,

they left Fukushima

And they can not return 

They feel think to be sorry for people who left in Fukushima

I prayed for the happiness and health of them

and reconstruction of Tohoku

Serving New Year Tea

I joined the meeting, the earthquake victims from Fukushima to Shizuoka.
I made some 2013 New Year Teas.
Blended Yamano-ibuki and Saemidori by Moriuchi tea estate,
pan fried tea by Shibamoto tea estate,
and Hatsuzumi tea by Nishiki-en.
Some of the participants were surprised that the new tea is out.

Serving tea at Fukushima

I went to serve teas for mothers with little children at Fukushima.

There are problems of Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster.
Mothers has stress of radiation fear every day.
I think that a cup of tea give care for them.

Flowering tea by 春風秋月,
Koku-cha, pan fried tea by Mr.Kajiwara,

Wakocha, Yamagiri no Kaori, Japanese black tea by Umegashima,

and Phoenix Dan Cong Oolong by Ms.Nakaya.

Iitate madeleine

This madeleine was made by women farmers of Iitate village/飯舘村.
Now,they can not live in Iitate village,

because Iitate was polluted by radiation from Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster.
They put and breed seeds of pumpkin in the place of refuge.
The madeleine names "Iitate snow girl".
By Mother's power project.
I had this sweets with sencha tea ,Daikan of Takeuchi tea estate in Shizuoka.

I also went to Nihonmats in Fukushima.

This  high-grade Japanese fresh confections was made by Tamashimaya in Nihonmatsu.
It likes a camellia flower.

With sencha tea of Umegashima ,Shizuoka.

I joined the conference at Nihonmatsu,Fukushima.
I took a rest with a cup of Matcha at the bus stop.

 

Nihonmatsu is under about 60km from The Fukushima I Nuclear Power Plant.

Nobody harvest persimmon fruits.

At Kesennuma

I went to temporary dwellings in Kesennuma.
To help body massage for victims by Great East Earthquake.

 

My work was front desk for massage.
Before and after massage, I served roast tea.

 

 

 

The road to recovery is a long.

Nodate / 野点

I had Nodate with a cup of matcha at Oshima in Kesennuma,Miyagi.

I climbed Mt.Kameyama,Oshima.

At Great East Japan Earthquate ,it occured fire disaster in Kesennuma.

The fire went over the sea and reached to Oshima island.

At Oshima island, the forest fired.

However the mushroom had great life force.

I like the nature of Oshima island.

And I had the tea party with my freiend at Kesennuma.

Teas were Phoenix Oolong Ye Lai Xiang/鳳凰単叢夜来香,Phoenix Oolong Fang Hong 鳳凰単叢東方紅,Wu-yi rock tea /the Da Hong Pao /大紅袍 and 2010 Phoenix Oolong /鳳凰単叢.

Matcha

I went to meet my friend to Koriyama/郡山,Fukushima.

My friend have counselings for women.
As Fukushima, there are problems of radiation,  the situation is different from other areas.

We had Ousu-cha/お薄茶 in Nodate / 野点.

We had Soba for lunch at Ryusenbou/隆仙坊.

There is a radiation measuring instrument in the park.

And we had  the street shop of pan-fried noodles /焼きそば.

He lived in Namie /浪江 that located only 3km from the Fukushima 1st nuclear power plants.

He lost his house and his shop.

Kencha

I pray for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami.

At Natori ,Miyagi.

I went to meet my friend to Kesennuma/気仙沼.

The sea was calm and peaceful.

Candles for requiem.
I hope to reborn Tohoku.

Oolong tea

This Oolong tea was made by Xuaoxiong in Shizukuishi,Iwate.
It is called Kesen tea /気仙茶.

Tea leaves were native

Tea leaves are slight fermented and fried with the pan.

The tea farm is near Rikuzen-Takada/陸前高田.

The tea garden remained but the town at the foot was damaged by the tsunami.

I hope to survive Kesen-cha.

Sencha

Soon,it will be one year from the great East Japan Earthquake.

Today, I had sencha of Ishinomaki /石巻,Miyagi.

The sencha is called Monou-cha /桃生茶.

Ishinomaki received the great tsunami and fires occurred.

Fukamushi sencha, deep steamed tea.

I bought by Uruoi tea estate.

I wish to reconstruct Ishinomaki.

I pray for Tohoku.
