While, Umegashima is beside Abe river

In Shizuoka, I feel the taste is different for each river

Sencha tea at Tochizawa/ 栃沢

I went to have sencha tea at Sansui tea estate/ 山水園.

 

 

At 3rd February, it was Setsubun.

 Setsubun means “the day between two seasons”.

People celebrate Setsubun with Hiiragi-iwashi and beans.

 Hiiragi-iwashi is a holly sprig with a baked sardine's head.

People put Hiiragi-iwashi at their door on Setsubun to ward off evil spirits.

The tea was "Drop of Mist/　霧の露"

Sansui tea estate is in in Tochizawa, Shizioka.

 

  

And we went to Ooma/ 大間.

At the veranda, we had tea ,rice cake and more.

Japanese afternoon tea.

Holding tea leaves with Japanese paper

I tried to fold Japanese paper for holding tea leaves.

This package is used at end of Edo Period.

The tea leaves are made by Sansui tea estate.

I mixed Wasabi-miso and used tea leaves.

Miso is soybean paste.

Wasabi is Japanese horse-radish from Umegashima, Shizuoka.

I used tea leaves ,Fukuju by Sansui tea estate.

Wasabi, Miso and tea leaves were good.

Sencha tea

 This morning ,I had sencha tea to get power.

 

 The tea was kiri no Tsuyu/霧の露 ,a drop of fog.

It was made by Sansui tea estate in Tochizawa/栃沢,Shizuoka.

 

 

 Last monday,I went to Sansui tea estate and had a cup of tea with Mr.Uchino.

I had sencha tea of Sansuien/山水園 using Gaiwan.

 

 

I want to watch opening tea leaves.

New year tea

I had new year tea of Sansuien/山水園 in Tochizawa ,Shizuoka.
I bought at the tea party.

I heard that it did not frost before tea picking.
Then ,this year tea leaves grew obediently.

The "旬" means best season.
Now, new year tea ,Shincha, is the best season.

New year tea party !

I joined the new year tea party at Sansui tea estate in Tochizawa,Shizuoka.

I had a cup of tea that brewed by Mr.Uchino.

This year, it was not detect radiation from new tea leaves .

The taste was so soft and clear.

I was cared.

After the tea ceremony, I had a lunch at the garden.

I feel that this year is good for tea.
