Tea leaves were made by Mr.Masui, Kawane, Shizuoka.

Japanese black teas have the characteristic taste.
This tea also has it.
I think this taste is good and only Japanese tea.

Making flowers flavored black tea

I joined to make flavored black tea .

It was named "Benikanbai, 紅寒梅"

The tea was flavored with flowers of Roubai, kind of plum.

I went to pick the yellow plum flowers

 There are three kind of Roubai.In this time, I see 2 type flowers, white and yellow.

 The first, I removed insects from flowers.
Then Roubai flowers put together black tea one night.
Next morning, Plum flowers removed and tea leaves were dried.
This process were performed twice or more.

 

  It is Japanese winter black tea.

Making my black tea at Umegashima

I made black tea at Umegashima, Shizuoka

I picked up tea leaves at Higashimine

This location was sunny all day

During witherling, tea leaves were dry too

I failed,,,

Then, I try to make tea again at Higashimine

I picked tea leaves at AM5:00

It was cool and the location was shade

And I made from Kurasawa leaves

Kurasawa had good science

Mr.Sano proposed to make tea with his Okuhikari leaves 

He taught me how to make black tea !!

at Sinden, tea leaves were Okuhijari

at Higashimene, witherling onr night, soft rolling

at kusaki, tea leaves were Kurasawa; Kurasawa was good science

at Sinden, made by Mr.Sano, Okuhikari, good science

at Higashimine, I failed to witherl, tea leaves were over dry

and at Kusaki, tea leaves were Kurasawa

I tasted some Japanese black teas

I think greenish taste, characteristic science, 

mean of species and degree of fermented

Mirai 1st by Mr.Masui, Creha aging tea, 2015 Asikita 1st,
Fujikaori at Ureshino, Saemidori at Ureshino, Yamatomidori at Tsukigase
and Benihikari at Minamisatsuma

Nishimata black tea

 The other day, I made black tea with my friends
I brewed thses teas again

 Left; beautiful golden chips
Right; I felt honey taste

These teas light fermented

It was the important to fermented first in eary

Making my black tea

 

 I tried to make my black tea

This time, I failed wilting and fermentation

At first, I was wilting at the cool place

Then tea leaves were not wilted enough

and not fermented enough

 

 

Tea leaves were native variety

Japanese black tea, Wakocha

The other day, I had the new year tea party with my tea friends

Today, I looked back these teas

I asked Mr.Okamoto to select intresting teas in 2015
from left, Tsukigase 1st.Jonokuchi, Tsukigase benihomare, Ashikita spring tea,
Tsukigase benihikari, Tsukigase yamamidori, Minamisatsuma 1st.
Minamisatsuma benihikari, Ureshino saemidori, Ureshino Fuzikaori,
Kitsuki soufu and more
 

 Ashikita spring tea; the best in these teas

Flowery scent passed
Minamisatsuma1st.; I knew this tea, completed heavy body, few years ago
this time, the tea added flower scent
I felt the evolution !!
Tsukigase tea; I think that Mr.Okamoto like this teas
like pretty flower

Benihikari of Tsukigase and Minamisatsuma,
I felt poultice in both tea (^^)
Tsukigase yamamidori; we thought about green tea leaves
I felt green that is bad taste

When we had dinner with yamamidori tea, we felt flowery

We hard to feel the goodness of green tea leaves

Ureshino saemidori tea leaves were reaped with machine, 

and chewed by planthoppers

We felt honey
and we thought that if planthoppers chewed leaves, process did not matter ??

very very intresting !!
